What is the deal with AIU? I called to get a price for the BBA program for my wife and I could not get a straight answer. They told me that is depends on the number of credits transferred in…fair enough. I told them that she had an AA.

They said I would need to fill out an online form and set an appointment with a counselor. She then told me that is not her rules and she was just following the rules of the accrediting agency. I asked what agency they were accredited by and she said SACS. I told her that she was full of it and SACS does not had any rules like that. I told her Florida Community College, UNF, St Petersburg College, UF, FSU, UCF, etc. were all SACS and I can get tuition information on their website. She said, ”well…well, we only give tuition information to serious, dedicated students and serious students follow the procedure.”

I asked her if she went to college. She said yes. I asked if it was a college other than AIU. She said yes. I asked if she was able to get tuition information before she enrolled and she did not remember.

I asked her if she was a car salesman, does that mean she would not give potential buyers a price on a car until she ran a credit check to prove they were serious and dedicated. She said that she never sold cars. She acted like she missed the point all together. The conversation ended with her saying that their school is just not for me.

Can anyone give me a price on the BBA program?

Thank you, I can not understand why they would not tell me. I would think they would rather give this information than have someone hang up.
