I've visited the capellauniversitysucks website and I must say someone must be very upset to have gone through all that trouble, although there are only 4 members and a couple of postings.

I've been taking a class at Capella and haven't had any problems yet, except it is a lot of work. I am finding the experience rather enjoyable.

Instead of simply bashing the school could you elaborate on you negative experience?

Thanks in advance for your response.

I finished my PhD in March after 5 years of hard work. The dissertation experience was rigorous. (You can judge for yourself and see mine on the UMI site.)

Can figure out where you are coming from Mr. Capella-Basher.

Congrats on your accomplishment, Jim! I hope to join you in 2.5 years. I would agree regarding the rigor, both from my coursework and the faculty expectations regarding the dissertation (as explained at the Scottsdale residency). BTW, I'm in the School of Business, too -- HRM specialization.

I cannot put any stock in a poster that stays anonymous and has such a provocative user name.

    Cheers,

    Scottsdale

Ah, to me, Scottsdale was quite balmy . . . where I live it's around 120F everyday, and much closer to the equator! :)

    My next graduation...

My next graduation will be in a cooler place (Edinburgh).

As crazy as it sounds, I was accepted into the EBS-DBA program.

It will take a few years, and I'll take it step by step.

Initially, the DBA courses I need to take, I'll take them in the order that also allows me to add specializations to my MBA retroactively.

So, I'll go for the Project Management Specialization, The Strategic Planning Specialization, Then go for the MS in Strategic Focus, and finally the DBA in Strategic Focus. That should keep me busy for a while...
