I can't imagine that an Associate's degree would help you. An Associate's degree is either a trade degree or the first two years of work that goes into a Bachelor's. I would first try looking for a school that would accept you into a Master's program with what you have. I suspect that you can get in with the possible addition of a small handful of upper division Bachelor's classes.

    Good luck!

It would depend on your situation. First, you would need to determine if your degree would be accepted in the United States, and if so, they would probably go through one of the agencies to get an interpretation or translation into what it would be equivalent to in the United States. I would suspect that if it were accredited, that you would probably have about a year to complete a Bachelors. You would probably be required to do mostly gen ed. However, I am not saying for sure, but only what would be possible. The other situation is to determine whether it would be considered a 4 year school, 3 year school, or a two year school. That is up to the college that you are applying to. I would not think that an Associates would be beneficial to you, as you would still in most cases have the residency requirement of 30 credit hours at most schools in order to graduate from that college. You might also want to check if it is possible to get into a Masters degree program and if you could meet some prerequisites.

The only time an Associate would be appropriate would be if you were going to go into something vastly different, and that position requires only an Associates. However, with a changing economy, the more education you have the better.

    Good luck to you!

    hi
Thanks for replying! I already enquired in certain colleges about my situation and they say i have to do degree in order to do masters, and another problem is mostly all the collges require some kinda work experience to apply for an Masters program which i do not have since my visa status does not allow me to work in US,so i was thinking that if possible i could do either of the two degrees and also a part time job, that way i would have a better chance of getting into a good school. I'am just confused whether to do a associate in Management or Bachelor's ?

In your case I would see which one is going to get you done faster. You really should meet with a college official in person and then once you get all you paperwork in, then that will make all the difference in the world. If you can get the Bachelors, then that is what I would go for, and hopefully, you can transfer some of your credits from the school you attended. Good luck!

    Have you checked: http://bain4weeks.com/

You could probably finsih a bachelors from COSC, TESC, Excelsior or WGU in a whole lot less time.

I would check out all my options if I were you. A Bachelors degree in anything is better than nothing. It would be best to make sure that you are able to get into a Masters degree program. If you could get done with a degree in 1 year as oppose to 3 years, that would be more beneficial. You will also find that schools like Rutgers are going to be limited in the amount of credits that they will transfer. So, you might want to check with other schools. Good luck!
