Would the big 3 consider these exams to cover the same material? In your opinion would one get credit for taking both exams or is their to much overlap?
Hi, I took both. I'f you're studying for a BSBA then there should not be a problem. My CLEP management fulfilled my Prins of Mgmt requirement and Dantes Supervision was applied to Business Electives. I think even for non BSBA students you're probably going to get credit for both. CLEP management covered the whole spectrum of management whereas Dantes Supervision drilled down to direct supervision issues. Good luck, Mike
I've taken a ton of these and Clep Management, Dantes Supervision are on the easy end of the spectrum. Three days reading for both should do. I used Instantcert.com when it was cheap. Don't stress out too much on these. Which school are you attending? What major? Mike
Here's a recap of these 2 exams as posted in my Rant's Testing Odyssey thread . These were among the easiest tests I've done so far: For the Principles of Management CLEP, I used the Cliff's QuickReview. I again didn't completely read the text but skimmed the chapters that I didn't complete and found that it covered the majority of the questions. All 3 of these tests have similar content and I highly recommend taking all 3 within a short period of time. I'm hoping that the next few tests on the business track will be similar as well. On to Principles of Supervision, this was the easiest of the day. I used the DSST prep guide for this one, which gave a decent overview of the topic but wasn't quite complete. However, most of these questions can be answered with common sense if you have much experience in the business world. I was finished with this one in about 40 minutes.
