I am unaware of any Bachelor degree programs in "animation." If you enrolled in a Fine Arts program you'd be taking courses across a broader range of that discipline and it's not clear from your posting that this is an interest for you. That being said, the only two schools that offer Bachelor level Art degrees 100% non-residentially are TESC and UNISA. There is a Masters level degree program in "Cartooning" at the University of Kent.
    Good luck,

You didn't tell us whether you are looking for individual classes or for an entire degree program. You also didn't tell us whether you are interested in undergraduate or graduate courses.

But here's a couple of contenders:

New York's New School University offers an online M.A. in Media Studies. They also have a BA in Liberal Arts degree completion program that seems to be open to a film/media emphasis. This school might be a very strong choice for a media degree.

And if you are willing to consider an American school that isn't regionally accredited, San Francisco's Academy of Art University offers a very comprehensive lineup of practical offerings in media and animation, ranging from individual classes on to MFA programs. This is the largest art school in the United States, by enrollment, and while it isn't really prestigious, it has a pretty good reputation in computer animation. It's accredited by ACICS and NASAD.

    Hi Guys

Thanks for everyones help so far.

Just to clarify - im looking for an entire degree programme. Masters or Degree level are fine as I already hold a Ba (Hons) in Radio, Film & Television Studies + English. Im just looking to supplement what i already have with a further more specialised degree course.

Animation as part of a degree course maybe ok as well, as im happy to study in the art and computer side of things.

I hope that clarifies things a little.

    Hi

Could you explain the difference between regionally accredited and accredited by ACICS and NASAD? are the latter two still good accrediations? Will employers accept them as legitimate degrees?

    Thanks
