There is now a link to Kennedy-Western on the BAIN4WEEKS website.

    Here is the path...

From the home page click the link to "Distance Education Info." This will take you to a list of schools with DL programs. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click on the link that says "39 more schools." This takes you to a link for Kennedy-Western.

Check out schools for yourself too!

    Hey,

a big part of taking online classes at ANY school, researching any website offering distance learning, or undertaking anything that will cost time and money requires you to vigilantly look at all the information possible and make YOUR OWN, sound and educated decision. Its your time and your money. Atta Boy! But you should also note the disclaimer from the website:

    ADVERTISEMENTS APPEARING IN BAIN4WEEKS.COM

Note that the colleges and universities listed and featured in the body of work comprising, BA in 4 Weeks, are either US regionally accredited or the foreign equivalent thereof. Served advertisements of institutions appearing in bain4weeks.com are screened to remove the worthless offerings. Since specific advertisers and advertisements cannot be determined a priori, filtering occurs after the fact of a first appearance.

Advertisements for regionally accredited institutions, DETC accredited institutions, and the foreign equivalent of regionally accredited institutions, may appear on this website. Rarely, the advertisements of not yet accredited institutions that are in the author’s view, otherwise legitimate, may also appear.

Third party vendors are also screened and those whose niche is the promotion of unaccredited colleges and universities, are removed. The remainder who promote schools, promote overwhelmingly, accredited schools, but even they from time to time may deal in material pertaining to unaccredited schools. Every effort is made to filter the undesirable, but this is not an exact science and there is no way to predict what others may decide to publish on their websites.

Readers are urged to do due diligence on, and to check the accreditation of, any school before committing to a program of study.

    "What low'ring clouds are these,
what distant cry of pipe and drum,
    what shudd'ring earth?
    The fray approacheth,
and doom-clad ravens take to flight."

This is not part of BAin4weeks. It's a google ad link on BAin4weeks that takes you to elearners.com. Elearners.com then has a link for Kennedy-Western. I could hardly see how this could be seen BAin4weeks now "advertises for a diploma mill"

    Randy's right on

    AV8R,
Randy's right again. Google will advertise anything. Lawrie Miller has always been a straight up guy. He provides a ton of great information and assistance to the DL community. At first I was shocked, and doubtful that Lawrie would do that. As expected I found that Randy hit the nail on the head, it is Google. I'll chalk this one up to: any news is good news.

I had those google served by ads on my website for a while until I broke down and decided to pay for my own hosting. They advertise based on keywords on the current page, and maybe it's different for this website, but I really had no control over what appeared whatsoever.

On my old guestbook somebody had written as the first entry "When it comes out, we'll have a party and i'll bring the keg." All the ads at the top were about brew it yourself beer. The next entry said "I went to your apartment and your mom's house and you weren't there, *&^^hole." Suddenly they're all real estate ads.

I have three websites, all related in some way or another to higher and/or distance education. On all three I host Google ads. Because the ads change regularly, it is difficult to keep them blocked. Unfortunately, you can usually only block them after they appear.

KW uses many different URLs and seem regularly to add more. Many of these schools change URLs precisely to get around blocked ads. I'm sure that as soon as Lawrie sees the ad, he will block the URL.
