    Hi folks,

Was just wandering if a could get some details about setting a schedule with the Masters programmes. I'll start my Masters in Health Systems Management, and I am planning to finish it in two years, actually I am planning to take all four compulsory units this year. So could anyone from their personal experience, in any related field please tell whether this kind of learning schedule is tight or somehow acceptable. Would it be too much for taking all units. You know guys, this is not a genius writing and that is for sure..:)), but I just need some info about it.

    Thanks as always

    Hi Tallman,

Whether the learning is tight or not pretty much depends on how much work is required in a "Unit". But there are several things you can look for:

    1) How much assignments per "Unit"? Well things can happen that all the deadline come very close. I am doing my MBA with Imperial College, take 3 "Modules" a year. It's a hard time to have 2 of the modules having close assignment deadlines.

    2) Examination. You may wish to check about it. In my case, all the "Modules" have the exam all within a week. No crash still, but there can be two exams running on the same day, morning and afternoon. So, in your case, you might need to think about what happen if your 4 units are having close examination dates.

I am wondering if all UoL programme have similar study patterns. Each "Unit"/"Module" run for a whole year and have a big exam only until the end of the academic year. If this happens to your case, 4 can be a very difficult task. As far as I know, my classmates usually take 3 or 2 at a time. It's allowed to take 4 modules at a time, but I believe it's too hard for someone with a Fulltime job.

    Good Luck with you study.
