Without actually enrolling and paying the enrollment fee, does anyone know where I can locate the degree requirements for specific majors now that Excelsior has rolled out its "new and improved" website?

It appears in revamping the site, Excelsior removed much of the information and online publications which essentially allowed motivated and self-sufficient students to complete most if not all the degree requirements prior to officially enrolling and paying the annual fees.

Indeed. Far less accessible now than before. Key information and documentation deleted.

Having Forrest Gump'ed their way through the separation from USNY and subsequent name change, the marketing geniuses at Excelsior are at it again.

    Stupid is as stupid does.

    shame on excelsior

I used to search the site because I wanted to continue my education, and get my degree from there. Now, I can't do anything because of the information they removed.

Yes, the new layout tends to match the name.

If you are looking for the pdf copies of the college catalogs to look up the degree requirements, you're supposed to still be able to do that even if you're not a registered student. It does require a login. But it's free to setup. I have my student login and didn't bother to try and setup a new one to check it out. But it's notated next to publications that the free accounts can access that. So try the link on the home page for "Excelsior College Publications Request".

Let me know if you still can't get to it and there's something specific I could look up for you.

Well I'm glad other agree that the new site is really irritating. You can request hard copies of all the catalogs and information pretty painlessly, though, so that is a plus. I just e-mailed the Liberal Arts department to request information for a friend, and they volunteered to send out the new student information packet, and did so within a day or so of sending them an address.

I created a "free account" several weeks ago and I just rechecked the Publications download page and the only available Catalog I see is the Graduate Degrees Catalog.

I remember the old site had the concentration sheets for all the Liberal Arts majors available for download....I suppose I should have downloaded it then, huh? LOL.

I am interested in the "Literature in English" major; I will likely go ahead and order a Liberal Arts Catalog to be delivered via snail mail....I had hoped to avoid getting on any more college mailing lists until I have made a final decision as to which program to pursue.
