    hi all,
Are the IUFS and St Regis ,Liberian, are recognized and accredited by their own government? it seem from their website they are?

If yes,are they comparable to regonally accredited school in the US or recognized UK institution ?in the way that other accredited institution will accept the Credit or degree from them?

    Thanks

It is safe to suggest that a large group of teachers in Georgia would not have been fired and lost their licenses for using degrees accredited by recognized authorities in the US or the UK.

Many other example can be given; this is one of the most recent.

Over the last few years, I have suggested that not one of the 3,000+ properly accredited US schools have a policy of accepting St. Regis or IUFS degrees.

Initially the St. Regis apologists objected, and supplied a few school names, which turned out not to meet that standard.

Then they moved on to saying, in effect, "There are lots of such schools, but we won't release any names, because then our enemies will somehow cause the schools to change their minds."

The answer depends on who you ask, this question has been raised several times with various representatives of both Liberia and Russia and the answer changes.

As to St. Regis (the most information avialable) depending who is the offical at the US liberian Embassy you ask you get a different answer.

But any "school" that will issue a doctorate for passing a multiply guess quiz in 15 minutes, or for submitting a totallly bogus portfolio and credentials (both reported on another fora) seems questionably to me.

Will the credentials be accepted as valid? Possibly (in the dark with the passage of some added enducement) but I doubt it.
