Any info on this school. It is a member of USDLA.

Here, in part, is what our data base has:

"St. Paul, Minnesota. Owned and operated by Reliance Education Corporation (a wholly owned subsidiary of Acclaim Investment Corp.), the same outfit that owns Adams College and, quite possibly, Excelsior University. The unrecognized accreditor accredits only Hartford, Adams, and Excelsior. http://www.hartforduniversity-edu.org."

To summarize in one word: beware!

The USDLA is a society of people promoting Distance Education. Why they let some of the "schools" become members is beyond me.

I thought Minnesota had some pretty strong regs that would keep nefarious schools out.

So, back to the original question, Is this legit? Is the USDLA Recognition worth the paper it is printed on?

Considering that the USDLA has never and will never accredit a school the answer is no. I wrote them another e-mail recently asking what they are going to do about their diploma mill members but I have yet to recieve an answer.

I have recently been in touch with Minnesota authorities regarding this organistion. The address is apparently an old restaurant on a vacant block of land. Go figure.

    Cheers,

    George
