Are they genuine or like Warnborough?

If these unis are genuine and fully recognised in the US, I think the UK will allow them to use the title as they do with all other appropriately accredited foreign institutions.

If not, the Companies House and the Home Office will take appropriate action, re. Warnborough

"On 11 May a place of business registration was completed under the name WARNBOROUGH UNIVERSITY LIMITED with the registration number FC025212.

Companies legislation requires the place of business to initially register in the name with which the company is registered overseas, i.e. Warnborough University Limited. However, once the place of business is registered the company must obtain approval to use 'university' if it wishes to continue to use the name. If it does not obtain the necessary Privy Council clearance we will issue a formal direction to the place of business requiring it to adopt an alternative business name (minus university). We have written to the place of business pointing out the name requirement and they contacted us today to say that they will probably adopt the business name Warnborough Worldwide Limited. If we hear nothing further ...we will issue a formal direction giving them 2 months in which to adopt a suitable business name."

Warborough has also been reported to the UKVisas and the Home Office for (1) Not being registered to give advice on student visas and (2) Importing overseas students for their bogus courses leading to bocus degrees.

    Preston University

I'm glad I said 'if' above. According to Chronicle, March 23 2001 , Preston was then and maybe still is unaccredited.
