Hello all...I'm currently in the UMUC MBA/MS program and so far it's been dragging. I'm only in the first phase of the program and I'll probably take another class to make sure I make the right decision. Anyway, anyone out there know of any DL school that has streaming video or DVD's as part of their curriculum? Here's what I'm looking for: Reputation Flexible schedule Preferably with a B&M attachment (not a necessity) R/A Professional Accreditation (A plus) Thanks all! -k
Amberton U. Hello again...Does anyone have any information about Amberton's MBA program? Workload? Hours per week on study? DVD or video format along with DL? Thanks...
kobeb, I know University of North Alabama uses DVD and Capitol College uses streaming video. The problem with Capitol is that you have synchronous classes every other week and must have a headset, mic, etc... for class participation. Actually pretty close to sitting in class. UNA has better Business accreditation but Capitol has significant accreditation in the engineering as well as NSA approval for their security program. Capitol is more expensive. Search for Amberton, there is a member attending who has posted. As for reputation I believe that that varies with where you live but both UNA and capitol have been around for awhile and ar recognized.
Kobeb, I don't think Alberton University offer CD, or Stream Video base. Check out University Alliance. http://www.universityalliance.com/Scripts/PageGen/Index.aspx?PageID=163#MBADegree . I saw the information at Joint Education Center that they delivery by CD and Stream Video from Regis University. If you have any question, just go there and talk to customer service representative online.
I believe that Regis University may use streaming video. Reputation: Top notch Flexible schedule: don't know R/A: Yes B&M: Yes Professional accreditation: No Wouldn't be my first choice, but by all accounts it's an excellent program.
What aspect(s) of the UMUC program made it a drag? What are the positive aspects? Which side of the ledger would WebTycho be on?
