In US, academic valus is base on accreditation that difference than other country. I see many school that legis but un-accredited. If unaccredited school is less than wonderful, Why goverment permit to open such that school to fool other people? Some school can take PhD in 8 months and the degree is legis. Do anyone can open unaccredited school? Thanks,
The hard part is getting the web site set up. In general (depending on your skills in web development) between 1 and 4 days. Long lead time is getting mailbox and bank account.
Because the U.S. Constitution does not mention the word "education," George Washington and his pals either intentionally or accidentally left it to the states to make their own rules. So we have 50 separate sets of rules. Some states are incredibly easy. You could rent a mailbox in Alabama and be selling degrees from Zvavda University within an hour. It is a totally nutty situation . . . leading to things faced by our colleagues when we were doing marketing for the Heriot-Watt University MBA. They lived in the village of Hornbrook, California. Their house straddled the California-Oregon border. If one of them had done a degree at Kensington University, he could use it (in his dining room) to take the California Bar Exam. But when he went into his kitchen (in Oregon), he would be committing a criminal offense to use that degree.
It's quite easy and to prove it, all you have to do is mail me $100 and I will return to you a university degree. For only $75 extra, it will be beautifully framed. That's how easy it is. Oops, I almost forgot: What kind of degree do you want?
Actually Knightsbridge University sells degree mills, oops, I mean on-line distance learning universitys all set up and ready to go. That way you can have your own degree mill, oops, I mean institution of higher learning, up and running with even less than a couple hours of work. I'd wish you luck but I really hope instead that degree mill operators spend time in jail.
