Well......I took the plunge and am now enrolled in the Doctorate in Religious Studies (Counseling). My total tuition for the first 5 courses was around 1500 with fees, etc and the first text book. I will let you know how things go. So far they have been very responsive and have sent student numbers and access to the on line course, quickly and efficiently. You even know who else is enrolled in the same course (classmates). Stay tuned. North
I hope things go your way, North. Has ACCS ever issued you the Doctor of Ministry degree you earned ?
I, too, wish you the very best in your studies at Trinity, North. If you don't mind, please keep us updated about the classes and your progress. God bless! mhl
I withdrew from ACCS with a Masters in Christian Counseling (just in time). Did the doctoral courses and then applied them to the MA. Have tried repeatedly and still cannot get them to send me the diploma (did get a transcript). They run the diploma's off some expensive printer they have but have yet to push the button to print me one. I realize they are going through a tough period. They are concentrating on getting the teach out agreements settled for students who are nearly done the program. Maybe I can get ACCS to send me an attachment and I can print it at home Thanks for asking & thanks to everyone for their best wishes. North
To North, All the very best in your studies, and I also found that the factulty at Trinity is very responsive and thorough. I don't think you'll have any problems. Rich Hartel A.A. in Theological Studies, Trinity College of the Bible (present)
Good luck my friend! I know you will thoroughly enjoy your studies and learn much. If you don't want to buy the Religions of the World book I will be happy to loan you mine. It will save you about $60. Withdrawing turned out to be the right choice for me. My wife's health problems are not much better after surgery. She has had further complications and a six-month shot regimen is next on the list. If this doesn't prove efficacious more surgery will be required.
Thanks for the best wishes and the offer. Unfortunately, I have already ordered the book. I am sorry to hear about your wife's situation. As one fellow Christian to another and one fellow clergyman to another...I will be keeping the both of you in my prayers. North
James says "The effectual fervent prayers of a righteous man availeth much." Your prayers are both welcomed and coveted, thanks!
