Thread: Free "Law School" through Independent Study

It apparently works through apprenticing with a lawyer - They also offer courses.

Who are these people? Why are they doing this? I couldn't tell from the site. Maybe I missed it?

I don't know how useful they would be in Washington State , say, where the State Bar supervises its apprentices throughout a rather detailed four year educational program.

On the other hand, they might be quite useful in an apprenticeship state like California where there isn't so much Bar involvement, IIUC.

No, I am wrong! Two passed in February, 2004!
