LSU has an Income Tax Accounting 1 dl course. Cost = $210 USU has an Income Taxation 1 online course. Cost = $375 These both concentrate on individual taxation. Is this what you are looking for or are you looking for corporate taxation courses as well? Tony
U.S. Tax Course Athabasca University and U.S. CPA Success jointly offer a 5 day course in U.S. Taxation. The cost is $2,250 Canadian (not cheap), but it can be completed rather quickly. For professional development purposes, there are no assignments or exams. However, if you complete three assignments and the final exam, the course is worth 3 credit hours. The information can be found at: http://www.uscpasuccess.com/CPA_cweb.pdf Hope this is helpful, Michael Weedon
Knew about Athabasca's cash-cow course and trying to avoid it. Was considering writing CPA exams and the state I am looking at, Delaware, requires a tax course and accepts a distance course.
It's "only" $ 1500 if you take the "Self-Study Program". I wonder what people get for the extra $ 922 (calculation based on the 01 September 2004 Alberta student tuition rate.)
A grade. I think you just get the materials for $1,500. It is a 5 day classroom course delivered by high priced help(i.e. consultants rates not professors rates) I like $211 US better.
