The Chronicle of Higher Education has several stories on their website (http://chronicle.com) that really has me steamed. It seems some accredited universities have on their faculty people who bought bogus degrees. That is bad enough but some of the administrators comments about it are even worse. And to top it off, what really has me bothered is one of these phony doctorates is at Valdosta State University, one of my alma maters. If you are like me, you have worked hard for your academic credentials. I busted my tail to get an Ed.S. from Valdosta State. Stupid me, huh? I could have bought a DOCTORATE and then get a teaching slot at an AACSB accredited school! Yeah, that's the ticket.

I wouldn't take it personally.....probably most schools have had fakes that have claimed degrees from them.

    I do, I do

Did you read the quote from the dean of the college of business? All those Ph.D.'s and all that stupidity.

No, the only link you supplied went to the Chronicle homepage.
