I wanted to send a huge "thank you" to Degreeinfo.com and many of you for providing the info and inspiration to get off my rear and get moving towards finishing my degree. I had a brief pit-stop in a b&m school after graduating high school, but long-winded story short, it didn't work out. I've been working dead-end job after dead-end job since then, and am now a single momma wanting to make a good example for my little guy and provide for future college or whatever he chooses to do with his life. I've got no time to sit in classes (I barely have time to sleep!) but could manage study while commuting to/from work, or evenings after my little handful-of-a-toddler goes to bed. And then I found all of you. So here I am, just finishing registration for classes at TESC. After a few speedbumps, I got my financial aid award letter, and I'm finally enrolled and taking a BIG step towards finishing my degree. I've even tackled some CLEP tests after being inspired by unixman and others, and help from TEKMAN on finding practice tests and information. Sorry to ramble, I'm just so excited to get started and owe much of the inspiration to do so to this board. I can't wait to post that I'm receiving my degree. Wee! [Edit: So excited I forgot to spell-check. Sorry!]
