That's my 13th test (combination of CLEP, Dantes and ECE) and only failed one, CLEP Calculus (45). Scored a 59 on this one. I studied for the GMAT a few months prior and I think it helped. Not a great score, but whatever. If anyone needs help with this subject I would recommend picking up a GMAT book and study it for a few hours. Similar feel though this was easier than the GMAT. 118 hrs right now. Taking a Calculus class on campus this summer and I'm done and start on my MBA this fall at Georgia Tech. They had no problem with me graduating from TESC.
Congrats Congrats. That's terrific. That is always fun when you get your score back. Best of luck in Calculus and your MBA.
I'm trying to remember what was on it and can't really remember anything specifically. The essay was similar to the ones on the GMAT. Like I said if you get a GMAT study guide and run through the verbal section you'll be more than ok for this test. I did read in a CLEP study guide that the English Comp w/ essay is a different test than w/o essay and has easier questions since you are taking the essay. It said like 5 different times to take the w/ essay version.
My essay was to write about the most important invention of the 20th century. I used a standard five-paragraph essay format. I took both CLEP’s (with essay and without essay) and found the questions to be about the same.
