    Hello everyone

I am studying for the CLEP General Subject Exam - Math, using Peterson's CLEP Success.

I have a problem because the book offers practice tests that include concepts not covered in its math review section. Here are a few: equation of an ellipse, sine function, standard deviation, exponentials, formula for compound interest.

I am gathering material on the web, mainly from freeuniv.com, to complement the book but I realize I have no real clues as to what to expect on the test. The list of exam topics on the College Board website is not very detailed either.

I ordered the Princeton Review's Cracking the Clep today and hope to find an accurate list of what I need to know. Could anyone let me know if I am right? Thank you.

    Shunyata,

Princeton Cracking Clep is one of the good source. Therefore, if you are good at Algebra, you should be alright. Remember to check with your college to see if they accept College Mathematics CLEP or not...I know my school didnn't. Check it before you waste your time. Anyway, Instancert.com or Comex System book for Mathematics for CLEP should be good.

    Good Luck....

I used to Comex General Math guide and it worked very well for me.

Thank you very much for your answers.

I will wait for the book I have ordered and order the Comdex guide later if necessary.

Good luck and may you find happiness.
