    TEKMAN Semper Fi!

    Greetings,

I plan to take American Literature as the next CLEP. There is no publication for this specific exam as I know. The only material I can think of right now are Barron E-Z101, and American Literature for Idiot's.

Does anybody know where to find the best source for this exam? Is there any tips for me? I plan to take it on July 5. After study Humanities, and what I learned from High School...I don't think I can pass the exam by using only CLEP Official Study Guide.

Thank you very much for your inputs.

    Semper Fi,

get a couple of Amer Lit anthologies from the library and read over them -- you can't fake having read the authors. Pay particulat attention to the table of contents and the list of works by each author. Know the periods and styles they wrote in.

also -- get a dictionary of literary terms or one of those one page laminated lit terms sheets. Vocab on that one will kill you if you're not prepared.

If you're are well read then you will do fine. If you're not a reader then you had better read some. :)

    Good luck
