I had been thinking of enrolling in University of Texas's online MS program for EE. Unfortunately, their web site now says they are no longer taking admissions. See: http://www.telecampus.utsystem.edu/index.cfm/4,621,82,56,html Anyone know what happened? It seemed to be a substantial program. So it makes me wonder if it is just temporarily overwhelmed, or if someone threatened to revoke their accreditation over it, or if something else happened? E-mailed the two advisors listed to ask, but haven't had a reply. Too bad, it really looked like a great program and I was very very interested in it.
I agree. They are well respected and I too noticed their program seems to be on hold. I thought the program was a little heavy in telecom technologies though. But if you are interested in that, then it would have been the ideal place to attend.
