    Interesting question. Probably depends on the, uh, degree of duplicity involved.

    Very interesting - thanks, Kirkland.

    A key seems to be that an awarded degree can be retracted for pre-award misconduct. I wonder whether University of Constance found pre-award misconduct in Schoen's case? That's not clear from the article that George posted.

    Interesting, but much of that is based on American case law, which wouldn't apply in the original case.
