What's up with ACCS? I just visited their website, and they do not seem to award anything over a diploma level now. http://www.accs.edu/index.html

Does this mean ACCS is now a Diploma mill?

It's to bad, because I heard some pretty good things about ACCS, hopefully they can turn this around at some point.

I think they are working on other accreditation but whether that ever bears fruit or not I do not know. As for the *diploma mill*, I am not sure if you are joking because they only offer diplomas. At this point, even if ACCS still offered degree about all we could call them is unaccredited and not a diploma mill. In any case, they do not even offer degrees and I suspect this is in response to OK state laws (at least as they once explained them).

As I mentioned on the other thread, I have concerns. They need to do something quickly like apply for DETC. They had an operation with a good size budget and staff to pay, buildings they lease etc. I cannot see two diploma programs generating enough cash but I could be wrong.

I hope to some day see my diploma. Cannot get calls returned and have not received it yet. Amazing, that even with less going on they still cannot return calls.

    To North,

I really don't think ACCS is a diploma mill either, I was just making a simple statement.

It's to bad they lost thier accreditation, I don't like seeing good Christian schools who offer distance education go down hill, so to speak.

    Lets hope they bounce back.

North, are you graduating from ACCS? If YOU are, congrats!!

Thanks Rich! I already graduated prior to them losing their accreditation (gracias a dios). Now, if I could just get them to send me a diploma that would be great.

    North,

I wouldn't hold my breath on getting that diploma. From looking at what has become of their website, they probably can't afford the postage to mail it to you! And I'm only half joking... sad indeed.

I do hope you get it soon -- I'm sure you earned it!
