has anyone had any experience with ITT's online bachelors programs? in particular, their ISS program?

the reason i ask is that i am almost finished with my associates in CNS from them and have seen alot of things about the cirriculum and school structure that i do not like. i wanted to know if anyone has had a better experience with their online degree.

i really want to get a bachelors in security but almost nobody offers it. ive looked through tons of colleges and schools that offer security courses but they dont really offer a specialized bachelors, only a few basic courses that i probably already know the material from. ITT's cirriculum looks like the best but im not sure if i want to deal with them again if i am just going to be dissapointed

I can't answer your questions, but it always disturbs me to hear that ITT is a bad school. I graduated with my AAS from ITT in 97 and again in 98 with my Bachelors. I enjoyed most of my time at ITT. I had a few teachers I didn't like, but I think that is common to any college process. What exactly happened to turn you off to ITT?

alot of it was the politics that go on at the school. they flat out lied to many students just to get us to enroll.

it also was the partnership/outsourcing of their cirriculum to an indian based company. the books that these people write cannot be understood or are just wrong. my grades have suffered many times because of their very poor tests alone. not to mention the fact that they are being investigated by the government for many reasons as well as being sued by many of their investors. it seems that quality has taken a backseat to profit.

im just so frustrated because i would really like to try another school but i just cant find one that offers the degree that i want.

I guess I got out in time :) All of our books came from reputable book companies. Of course I was also in the electronics and telecom programs. I have to admit my bachelors degree was a bit of a let down, but having it did help me land an awesome job and got me several interviews..... I'm sorry to see that ITT is falling apart, they used to be a great school.
