    Hey, all...

Well, this note is a little belated, but as of about a month ago, Excelsior College became our newest sponsor.

Excelsior has a proud tradition as the oldest of the three degree completion programs, and has graduated over 100,000 students since its humble beginnings as University of the State of New York.

The relationship between Excelsior and DegreeInfo is a little different than our other featured schools; Excelsior is sponsoring our new "New to Distance Learning" tutorial, which is designed to help students seeking degree completion to quickly learn the "ins and outs" of the degree completion process.

Visitors coming to DegreeInfo for the first time will see a popup with the first page of the tutorial; it runs about 12 pages or so, and gives a broad overview of all of the important points about degree completion. The tutorial was written by DegreeInfo staff.

So... if you are considering degree completion as a means to finish an associate or bachelors degree, while we have nothing negative to say about the other two schools specializing in degree completion (Thomas Edison and Charter Oak), we'd encourage you to at least consider Excelsior.

If you'c like to view the tutorial, you can just click the "New to Distance Learning" link at the top of this page. If you'd like information on Excelsior's programs, you can either click on the "Featured Schools" link and choose Excelsior's link, or glance through the tutorial and click the link at the end of it.

As always, your comments and suggestions are welcomed.

So when are they changing their name to Degreeinfo College?

Seriously, folks, it's good news. The tutorial is a great idea. Thanks, Chip.
