I have a friend who is interested in bocoming a coach/teacher. He has about 30 hours of Gen Ed credit from a RA college. I have zero ideas about what it takes to become teacher in Florida public schools. Can one use the "Big 3" method of becoming a teacher here in Florida? I wasn't sure how one goes about doing that? If my friend was to get a degree from one of the assessment colleges what would he need to have a concentrations in? After getting a degree doesn't he need to get a teachers cerificate or do an internship? After him seeing the quick progress that I have made towards getting my degree, he was excited about the prospect of fast forwarding his education. Can someone help get us pointed in the right direction? Thanks, Jeremy
Using GOOGLE with florida teaching credentials I found http://www.teachinflorida.com/support/FAQs.asp whihc led me to http://www.teachinflorida.com/JobCenter/certification.asp
The coaches I had in the Tampa area seemed to have several things in common: Poor dental care, Lengthy criminal histories, A degree in Education I am not sure all 3 are required. I think 2 will suffice
