Hi, I am looking for any options that accept maximum graduate credits in education in transfer. My husbands program may be folding locally. The main campus is not a commute option. He holds a graduate certificate currently. Thanks. Hille

    Hille,

Must the degree have a specific title or be accredited by some authority or have some particular curriculum?

Hi Hille - I'd look at WGU since they are competency based. There are programs that allow maximum transfer credit (50%) but depending on your goal may not be what you need. e.g. for teaching in k-12 in the U.S. more often than not the courses/program must have been approved for licensure in order to be recognized for step increases or promotion to administration. If teaching at the community college that is not usually an issue.

    Good luck,
    Mary A

Hi, His degree must be the above. He heard last night our local base has a program that may accept his entire class. This is still up in the air. Money, of course is a factor. Hille
