Has anyone had any experience with UIU? They have an 'external degree' program. I am interested in the Bachelor of Science with major in Psychology. I gather that it is self-paced, and regionally accredited. The self paced part is interesting to me, as I am trying to wrap it up asap. Thanks in advance for all the help.
Also with the external degree---can it be time consuming in the fact that a person may have to be at the mercy of the post office, and then the professors checking out the work, and returning it, etc?
    Again, thanks.

I am down to my last few classes at UIU and gearing up for a masters program. I started my online education with U of Phoenix but transfered to Upper Iowa University's Online program and have had nothing but good experiences with them. Their online classes are eight week terms, six terms per year. Their external degree courses run up to 6 months per course completion time if I remember correctly, but you can finish them as fast as you like. I do not have much experience with the external program, but the times I have dealt with them they have been very helpful and quick to respond. They are a little more costly than other schools but I use my military tuition assistance and GI Bill when I use all of those funds. They also give a military discount of 10% if you are in the service.
