I am still searching the internet for British, Austrailian, Irish or any foreign DL Master of Laws & Doctor of Laws degree program. If at all possible, I would like to undertake studies for both programs (Masters & Doctorate) at the same institution. I do not have a specific type of Doctorate degree except that it is one of a legal nature, meaning, it could be SJD, LL.D., JSD, DJur, Doctor in the Science of Law (if that is not the same thing). I do prefer to obtain these degrees through research though. I checked out the University of Auckland, York University, Dalhousie University, Bond University, University of Melbourne and Deakin but it is not specific whether or not these degrees can be earned through Distance Learning. Does have an opinion of this?

    Obliged for your kind indulgence,
    Shay

There are numerous DL programmes for LLM in the UK, for example see at :

As for PhD, most European residential doctorate programmes are in fact very much like a DL programme in the sense that in the age of email you could correspond with your advisor and show him/her your development, and you have no class attendency (usually). In other words, I am sure that you could find an advisor who'd agree to meet you a couple of times a year, and keeo the rest of the communication through email.
