    Greetings to the Mighty Forum~~~

I'm starting on my last class at Excelsior very soon. I'm open to suggestions. Basically, since it's my last one, I want the SHORTEST, EASIEST choice. I have had so many stinking classes, after two BA's, a teaching credential, and a 4 year MA at TEDS. Cost is not a factor in proportion to speed or "easy-ness."

I need an upper level English course that focuses on a major "literary period or movement."

Any experiences to share or ideas?

I like the correspondence courses from Southwest Texas State which are very inexpensive and often include less than 10 submissions. For example, "3335 American Literature 1865-1930: The Rise of Realism, Naturalism, and Modernism" is only 5 submissions and 2 exams. I took an upper-level psych course from SWT to finish my Excelsior degree and it met my needs. Here's the link to the English Course list:

Louisiana State University has several Independent Study courses that fit the bill.

They're among the cheapest RA courses available, and you can work at your own pace. They even state that many courses can be completed in a few weeks.
