I was accepted into both the DL MBA programs at University of North Alabama and Liberty University. I would like to know peoples opinions on which is the better school and has a better DL MBA program? Thanks
I would select UNA given its RA, ACBSP accredited and a school with 30 yrs of experience teaching MBA. I also heard rumors UNA planning for AACSB.
Re: Re: UNA & Liberty U Where did you hear that? Can you please post a link where I can find more information about that? I am also leaning towards UNA. However the one thing that turned me off about UNA is that I will have to take 5 pre reqs, which will take me an extra 6 months to complete and will bump up the tuition for the MBA to around $15k. What I like about Liberty U is there is no pre reqs, it's very cheap and can be completed in only 1 year. However I am not sure if an MBA from LU will carry much weight with employers in Canada. UNA is also not very well known in Canada, but I think it's a bit more well know here then LU. So I think that my chances of getting a great job with a UNA MBA would be higher then with a LU MBA. Bo
Re: Re: Re: UNA & Liberty U The University College of Business, who has been offering MBA programs for over 30 years is also accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), and also cooperates with and participates in academically-related programs as may be conducted by external groups such as the American College of Life Underwriters, the American Institute of Banking, etc. http://www.colsouth.edu/una/aboutuna/accreditation.html

Two things. Bo79: Are you comfortable with Jerry Falwell and his ideological orientation? If so, fine, but if not, UNA would be a better choice. Manjunath: Proxy congrats on another magnificent election in India. Perhaps one day the US will recognize that democracies like India are the US' natural allies, not tinpot corrupt states whose brutishness is a form of spiritual, um, Jinnahcide.
