Hello everyone. I am looking for a few colleges that can accept financial aid and start immediately. July at the latest. General studies, Business or individualized studies would be nice.

Basically I want to start classes ASAP so I can take some of the classes that I don't intend to test out of. The college needs to be able to accept financial aid. I intend to tranfer these credit to COSC or TESC. This will help offset my expenses and help raise my GPA for grad schools.

So far TESC is the only college that i know that fits thes requirements.

    Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks, but no financial aid is accepted from them directly.

Well, After flew with different schools.....finally I choose Troy State Univeersity...... 10 weeks/term 5 terms/year.... Good deal with most of the transfer credits from exams, and military training.

    Try that is better........@ http://www.tsufl.edu/distancelearning

Have I done any class at LSU? Yes, I don't like it.......but LSU is much better than Indiana University - SCS

    Good Luck.

Limestone college, Gaffney SC, a B&M institution since 1845, you can complete a degree online without ever stepping foot on campus...but you need to attend the graduation if possible...the place is sooooo coooool

I'm just curious. Considering that your income is "close to six figures," and considering that we're talking about distance learning degree programs, how much financial aid are you expecting to get? We get more than a few posted questions about financial aid. Most people seem to be discouraged by the lack of resources. Have you tapped into some unknown resevoir?

    Skidadl,

FHSU offers a Bachelors of General Studies, accepts financial aid, is extremely reasonable at $112 per hour, and many of their classes have open enrollment.

    Jack,

You must have missed the fact that I am no longer employed. Gave it up, quit, sold the boat, jumped ship, waived the white flag. I guess you get the point.

The unbelievable amount of pressure, stress and time added up. I am now committed full time to this edjumacation thingy, for awhile at least.

Yow! You're right, I missed it. I thought I was making a big shift by moving to the hinterlands of CT. You're positively "off the grid!" All my "stuff" is in boxes and I'm about to go off-line while I resettle. Once I'm back I'll dust off my resource list and get back to you. Good luck.
