I used the REA Guide "The Best Test Preparation for the CLEP Analyzing and Interpreting" ISBN: 0878918973.

from my review on Amazon-, This is a good study guide and it will help you understand poems and literature but will not give you any answers to questions. The sample questions were the biggest help. You really need to read some poems and short stories and become comfortable with interpreting them. I read this book, some poems and short stories and took the test all in 3 weeks and passed with a 56. DO NOT waste your time memorizing all of the Rules of Poetry and definitions unless you feel you want to get those 4 questions right.

    Good Luck

I used the Official CLEP Study Guide, which mirrored the test pretty well.

If you need material in a hurry, you can purchase the homegrown study guide published by Xenia34 on eBay for $6.00.

I used the REA guide and found it helpful.

I have reviewed the REA guide Analyzing Lit at Amazon.com, and I find it particularly deficient and misleading. The exams are especially nothing like you will see on the exam (although I only took it once - your milage could vary).
