anyone have any experience with this test? it counts 3 credits towards business and 3 towards math requirements. i don't think many people are aware of this. 6 hours total for one test, not bad. hope i can find study materials.
if you look in the business section and the math section you will see the COSC stats exam. this is the same test that according to a recent test taker and COSC gradute it counts for 6 total credits. i'm trying to track down furhter details. http://cosc.edu/Advising/StandardizedExams.cfm http://www.ctdlc.org/forums/Thread.cfm?CFApp=5&Thread_ID=670&mc=3
To be certain this test garners the 6 credits that the student posted I would call an adminssions counsellor at COSC and make certain. Either way, you'll need stats for the business degree (do I remember right? That's what you are shooting for?) Sorry I can't help you, I'm taking a paper based correspondence stats class.
talked to COSC today and they informed me that their statistics test will give you 6 total credits. 3 in business as upper credit and 3 in lower giving you the math requirement. $65.00 plus the proctor fee, if you have to pay for one. sounds like a good one to me. i'm a bit scared though, i am poopy at math. surely i can pass ONE test.
It sounds great! And here I was going to take the DANTES one and only get three credits. Thank Jah for DegreeInfo.com! It's a bit confusing, though, that on COSC's Standardized Exam page they say: But then on the phone they say it's worth six, and the three for business are upper level, not intermediate. Are you sure about that? If so, perhaps Charter Oak's left hand and right hand should have a conference call. -=Steve=-
