I have a friend who earned about 50 semester hours from a RA school some 20 years ago. The past 20 years he has been working in law enforcement (City Police Dept.). For career advancement purposes he is looking for a degree program into which he can transfer the prior academic work (partial or all) and complete an associate's degree. The two year degree will meet the requirement at his department.

Does anyone know of such a program? Advice appreciated, and I will relay the information to him.

I've looked at several in this field. For an AA look at Brevard community college in Fl. But Im no expert still trying to decide on a program for myself.

    Dear Russell,

    Greetings!

The common answer again: try COSC, TESC, or EXC. If your friend cannot get a specific associate's in criminal justice (or a related field), he can always go for the liberal studies/general studies associate's degree, if this last one serves his purposes.

    My best regards,
