I want to know who attends Troy State University via distance in this forum. Would you please, respond with your name and degree major.

Apparently, Troy State is changing its name too (to Troy University rather than Troy State University) sometime in 2005.

I also attend Troy State. I am in their BSCS (computer science) program.

I just applied to Troy State University, it sounds likes I am half way to my BSSC. Cool thing about Military Science for minor. I don't know about the school yet, but the academic advisor as well as service is 10/10 compare to Indiana University - SCS is 2/10.

I am getting into this school, especially thanks to Bill...I read his advice about credits banks.

No, you are not reading wrong on my degree at Marine Corps Insitute.

I am currently working as Legal Administration, that is the degree when I get out of Marine Corps.

Ph.D = Pizza Home Delivery.

They also have a BS in Criminal justice too (I guess you could use that milt sci minor with it too). If you are doing the BSCS, I have quite a few of the books needed incase you want to get a used book for cheap.

I don't understand why they are changing their name. I actually like Troy State U a lot better then Troy U.

Didn't Towson in Maryland do the same thing a number of years ago ? Went from Towson State University to just Towson University. Any Marylanders want to comment ?

does this mean that Troy State's distance BSCS Uni/College name would also change ? Would it still be from Troy State University College or simply Troy University ?
