How does the VA pay out to students enrolled at Excelsior? Do they pay a full monthly benefit or do they only give 55% for the courses taken? Also I assume that it is payed quarterly rather than monthly, right?
    Thanks

I seem to remember when I was asking about GIBill and Excelsior that they would qualify you for benefits if you would take their exams (ECE). Now, I am not sure how many exams you have to take but I think if you take so many Excelsior exams within three months you get benefits (they don't give you bene's for enrollment, grad, etc., however).

    Hope this helps,
    Bill

I am not familiar with excelsior, but when I run out of TA and use my GI Bill, they pay for the course but I have to get the school to submit the enrollment, then I verify it. I usually take two course per term so they consider it full time and pay either--the cost of the classes up to but not to exceed the max monthly rate, or the max monthly rate, and they pay monthly.

    Greetings.

My recollection is that GI-Bill benefits will NOT cover credit-by-exam credits or the yearly enrollment fee all the "big three" assessment colleges charge.

Certificate exam fees may be covered, and if they happen to award college credit (i.e. ACE reviewed), so much the better. <g>

    Cordially,
