Anyone know of any DL doctorates in these areas, other than from the Union Institute--especially ones in which you wouldn't have to sell your house to pay for them?

    Jack,

    Thanks!

Are these degree programs totally DL? What is the cost for each?

Hi Michael - I'm sorry to say that at this point you know pretty much as much as I do regarding these programs. I think I could say with some certainty that they are all "research-oriented" doctoral degree programs (meaning no course work, just the dissertation). I think I could also say that you will find it difficult (though not impossible) to get the university in question to agree up front that you will not need to come to the campus intermittently. Tom Head is the only one I know of who seems to have managed that feat. Perhaps you could drop him a PM and inquire what magic words he used with the folks at Edith Cowan University. As to the cost, this varies a bit and clearly has a lot to do with the question of airfare, accomodations, etc. Good luck,
    Jack
