It seems like I remember seeing a few posts in reference to FMU and how it wasn't a great experience for some.

Just for the record and for the sake of my continuing research into the right school for CJ, what were some of your opinions of the school, instructors, etc.?

A lot depends on how much you're willing to pay. Plus, do you want to learn entirely via DL or do you want B&M or combination of both? What level of degree are you looking at? Do you plan to one day pursue an advanced degree in the field? Also, it depends on how quickly you desire to obtain your degree as some schools offer accelerated programs.

I'm more than willing to help as I'm sure others are as well...

    Italiansupernova,

Whatever program I decide to go with would have to be 100% online, as I am currently in Germany and no longer affiliated with the military, and with no proctor requirements.

    I am in pursuit of a bachelor's.

As far as accreditation, I would prefer it to be RA although, like many others here, I see no real reason why both shouldn't be taken just as seriously as the other, but that's life in the big world I guess. The biggest thing with accreditation on my end is that I am completely unsure of what law enforcement agencies - be it local, state or federal - prefer in the accreditation to be. As I posted before, if anyone knows the answer to this and has prior experience and/or knowledge in one of these policing agencies then please let me know.

I would rather not have to spend more than $35k on a bachelor's degree, as that is all the GI Bill will pay.

3 to 3 1/2 years would be the ideal completion time for a degree but that is negotiable.
