My wife has her AA and is going back and forth about completing a Bachelors. She does not really want to do anything with it but I think it could not hurt to get it.

I am looking at the cheapest options in liberal arts. She does not like business, computers, etc. And she will NOT take any CLEP / DANTES exams.

    Any suggestions?

Given that she doesn't want to take tests, she has a couple of options:

    1. Earn a degree through one of the Big Three (TESC, COSC, Excelsior). There are other ways to earn degrees through them than solely testing. Your wife could course-shop for the cheapest courses around the country and then bring it all together at one of those schools. Some of those cheap courses could even be from community colleges (because they will accept more than the 60ish units your wife needed for her AA).

    2. Your local state university may still be a good bet. In California, we have the more expensive system and the less expensive system. Other states have a similar set-up.

While I rarely push what I'm doing elsewhere in the world here (beyond my sig file), I do offer a newsletter on the whole topic of cheap degrees. Check it out at http://www.cheapdegrees.com.
