I posted this message some weeks back but barely received any response.I shall be grateful to have your help. Thanks Newcatle DBA , Charles Sturt DBA , Unisa DBL.Help wanted. Dear Friends, I’m a new member . For the last two months , I have been reading through the posts. Must have read more than 25 pages. Your names are now so familiar to me. I like the friendly atmosphere. Especially, this came out so vividly , for example, with all the fraternal embrace that all of you gave to Christie when she got accepted at Grenoble DBA. I also want to study for a DBA but is in a dilemma between the Newcastle (Australia)DBA, the Charles Sturt DBA and the Unisa DBL. I want your assistance on this. The Newcastle DBA mentions that it is 2/3 coursework & 1/3 research. Without the MBA content does it not come to 50-50. Also with so many coursework elements, does this mean that the thesis part would be less “ intense”. I know one member is on this DBA. How about the CSU DBA? I understand Humbug in on it. Could I have some more info, especially on the coursework part, whether there is an exam. I could not find such info on the web. I am also intensely exploring the Unisa DBL, because it is affordable to me. John Fracarro seems to have some bare info. This DBL is the one where I have the least info on the web. John mention 75 books to read for the first year. I have no indication how the exam would be, nor the subjects nor the titles of the books. Is there any member on the Unisa DBL? I shall be grateful for your esteemed assistance. Ardee.
Hi Again, Please refer to my post of a week or two ago. I did answer your question about exams and as such there are none. There is course work all focused towards preparation or your dissertation. Good value and I've had a good Lead also. In the dissertation track now. More questions let me know. BAH
