The thread about Century got me to thinking along these lines. Does anyone know any legitmate school anywhere that has moved across state lines? I don't mean opening a new branch (a la Touro University International), but where the entire school picked up and moved.

I'm sure there must be a couple.

I cannot recall any information on an entire university/college picking up and moving but I do know of some departments within schools that have done something like this. I think CBN University(now Regent) bought a law school from Oral Roberts University. Didn't Oral Roberts have a medical school at one time? Did they sell that one, too?

Walden moved its academic opertions from Florida to Minnesota. This had the effect of moving them from the Southern Association's jurisdiction to the North Central's. They got nowhere with the Southern Association, but soon found themselves a candidate with (and, subsequently, accredited by) North Central. I think it's fair to say this was their intent.
