mba from education direct / ics learning

I was looking at an ad from ICs learning and through google found out that they are part of http://www.educationdirect.com/index.html

Then I stumbled upon their own homepage:

Doing some surfing I saw that they have their own MBA program which would cost you 10000 pounds to complete (okay it is 9999 pounds)

They claim to be working with very good universities , see under their link 16 universities.

I am not here too claim that they are bad, bogus or any other evil.

I have no interest in doing this program (thanks to the sound advice of ths board i am now pursuing other interests so no MBA for me)

I am just interested in the opinion from the members, especially from prof Kennedy on how this program would meet the following points:

1 Is it an academically sound program?
2 How does it look on a resume?
3 Will it allow holders to go on with a PHD
4 Will it help out there in the real world?

For those interested, I am trying to get into a masters at a british university
