    never heard of it

    Hello,

I live in Northern VA, not far from Manassas, and I have never heard of this university. It does seem they have accredidation from ACICS though, and they are on the CHEA website.
http://www.chea.org/Institutions/action.cfm?CheaID=8109.0, those are two good things. As far as the quality of the programs or anything, I couldn't tell you, I didn't even know it was there and I have probably driven by it hundreds of times going to my inlaws house.

UNVA has an excellent MBA program (3x14) and it is fully accredited by the ACICS. BTW, it's tuition is also very affordable!

    Re: never heard of it

Apologies in advance for those unfamiliar with and indifferent to the geography of Northern Virginia. :)

You know the building visible from I-66 that says ECPI? There used to be another sign on the same building in the same font that said "University of Northern Virginia". No idea why they took it down. Maybe they moved?

Here's a link to an image of the building.

UNVA also has (or at least had) a campus in Charlottesville.

I think $945 per class is an awful lot to pay for programs at a place that doesn't have regional accreditation. Strayer is a better deal in the area for the same programs, and George Mason a better deal for similar programs.

    agreed

I don't doubt University of Northern VA has good programs, but I do agree, George Mason and or Strayer would be better choices due to accredidation and recognition in the area.
