Chai Cheng has a large list of distance education on his site. He even rates schools as "prestigious". In fact, even MIGS gets a prestigious rating on his page. http://www.geocities.com/CollegePark/Library/8163/degree1.htm
Which is, of course, absurd. MIGS has hardly distinguished itself, and the CEU is a relatively unknown (but respected) university. Rich Douglas, who hopes someday MIGS will distinguish itself.
I notice that the Commonwealth Open University takes applications for it's Honorary Degrees. Hmmmm! I guess this may be the poorer man's way to an Honorary degree if he/she cannot afford to donate big bucks to an accredited university. North
The list is hardly complete. The names of most colleges that pioneered distance education are not listed. Ike Okonkwo
You are exactly right, Ike! Thurston Howell University, which was a topic on this very forum, isn't mentioned at all. Russell
