I already have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and I am planning to go for CPA and CISA. I need at least 24 credit hours of accounting, plus 30 graduate hours in addition to the BA.

Does anyone have experience (good or bad) with DL accounting courses? I particularly prefer not having to travel for exams.

I'm enrolled in the Lakeland College online Accounting program. This is my second semester and so far so good.

I went in with a BS in education and they accepted nearly everything. I also CLEP'ed four classes. (Have to score at least 55 to be accepted). After all transfers and CLEPs, I needed nine classes. which is Lakeland's minimum residency requirement, to complete the degree. At the end of this semester, I'll have four left.

Entire degree can be completed online. Only the midterm is proctored.

By the way, in what state do plan to take the CPA? You may not need the additional 30 grad. hours. If you already have a BS, the additional coursework in accounting should meet the 150 hr. requirement.

    Where is Lakeland College?

Can you post the URL? I found several colleges with that or similar names in Google.

I am in California, so you may be right about the number of hours needed to reach the 150 hours requirement.
