If you want authoratative reading -either print or online- what do you read?

Since you're here we all know you read degreeinfo.com, however what else do you read. Dr. Bear's books, other sites, discussion lists, usenet groups (AED?)?

Why do you read what you do?
What are the pros and cons of your source(s)?

Is there a body of knowledge regarding distance learning that did not originate in academia? Is there a community of practice?

I look forward to hearing what you have to say.

For general reading, I think this site is great:

    http:www.distance-educator.com

There are a lot of resources there, but one of the nicest is that they also have a news aggregator which collates articles on DE from around the world, and you can sign up for the daily news to be sent to your email.

I also subscribe to the the DEOS listserv (Distance Education Online Symposium), which is run out of Penn State. Some very interesting discussions can be found here, as well as suggested readings, calls for papers, etc. It's definitely more academic.
