It appears that TUI has been placed on academic probation, Took this off a TUI/yahoogroups board today: "Let us remember that academic probation did not fall from the sky. Through multiple reports and a previous visit, TUI was warned about its deficiencies. Why were things permitted to escalate to the level of academic probation by a regional accrediting agency?" Hi Rev. Andy, Spend some time with the search function on here, and reading the archives on the Yahoo site. You will find the focus has been on only the Ph.D programs, and not on the other degree offerings. You will also find that this is very old news, TUI has made any requested changes, and that MSCHE was just on-site there for the follow-up visit. Final word from MSCHE is due out in June I believe? BTW, MSCHE originally approved the 100% DL Ph.D for TUI so there's no smoke and mirrors with this. More like the program grew so rapidly that changes were needed to ensure the MSCHE standards were still in place.
