Does anyone know of any RA schools that offer self-paced courses online? I was thinking of doing that to complement courses I'm starting with Capella. I travel alot and was thinking that would allow me to take more classes but still have a manageable workload while I travel. Thanks!

Yes, many do, often under the heading of open enrolment courses. But, you usually have to search carfully through all there offerings. I know Colorado State has 3 or 4 (out of about 500) that are open enrollment, but they are in topics such as grant writing and general education.

If it would work, an option would be to take along study guides for CLEP, ECE, DANTES and similar and schedual tests on the road or when you return.

Another option is independent study courses, available from almost everyone.

    One suggestion....

    Louisiana State University Independant Study

    1) Brick and mortar land-grant university regionally accredited by SACS.

    2) Inexpensive - less than $70 per credit hour.

    3) Good selection of courses.

    4) Great Courseware makes study and submission of work easy.

    5) Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and cognizant of the needs of the adult independant learner.

    6) Each course can be finished in as little as 5 weeks or you can take up to 9 months to finish.

Good luck and best wishes for your success!
